Curtis Whitfill

VP SIU Compliance and CE Programs
Curtis joined VRC Investigations in 2019 after holding progressively responsible leadership positions at Unified Investigations and Sciences, Avis Budget Group, and USAA as an SIU Investigator, SIU Manager, Claims Manager, and Branch Manager. He also served as an investigator of major crimes at the Texas Department of Insurance and as a consultant/expert witness following more than a decade as a police officer. 
Curtis is a frequent speaker/presenter at Insurance Claims Conferences, continuing education sessions and chapter meetings across the United States. His presentations and courses have been delivered to over 20,000 claims professionals. He is a licensed insurance adjuster and Certified Fraud Examiner. He has authored numerous insurance claims investigation courses in all lines of business. He enjoys keeping up with all the modern investigation techniques and tools and is continually looking to stay on the cutting edge of investigation techniques. He inspires, motivates and empowers adjusters and claim investigators to conduct the right investigation on the right claims.
